UCT Prague FCT Department of Metals and Corrosion Engineering Research Department´s Student Conference

The Student Research Conference (SVK) is an annual showcase of the scientific and professional activities of students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. At the Institute of Metallic Materials and Corrosion Engineering (UKMKI), this event serves as a key platform for presenting the results of independent projects that students carry out in close collaboration with their advisors and as part of the institute’s research activities.

For Students:

Participation in the Student Scientific Conference allows students not only to present their scientific findings to a panel of experts but also to acquire the necessary skills in professional argumentation and the defense of their results.

Specialized Sections: Research works are presented in thematic areas corresponding to the institute’s focus (Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Biomaterials, and Conservation-Restoration).
Motivation: The best works in each section are awarded special research grants and prizes from the institute’s partners.
